A pack of feral cows chewed their cuds for .0043 seconds to convert this hand
PokerStars No Limit 5 Card Draw ($1.00+$0.10) t60/t120 ante t30 - 6 players

UTG+1: t3,705
CO: t2,455
Button: t6,440 (Hero)
SB: t5,770
BB: t6,068
UTG: t3,015

Dealing Hands: (t360) A♣: Q♣: T♣: Q♥: Q♠: (6 players)
UTG calls t120, UTG+1 calls t120, CO folds, Hero raises to t500, SB calls t440, BB folds, UTG calls t380, UTG+1 calls t380

First Draw: (t2,300) (4 players)
SB discards 1, UTG discards 2, UTG+1 discards 1, Hero discards 1,
Q♣: T♣: Q♥: Q♠: || 2♦:
SB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks

UTG+1 mucked J♠: A♠: T♠: 4♠: 3♥:
Hero showed 2♦: Q♣: T♣: Q♥: Q♠:, three of a kind, Queens <= ???
SB showed 8♦: 5♠: 7♥: 6♥: 6♣:, a pair of Sixes
UTG mucked 4♣: J♥: 3♣: T♥: A♥:
Hero won t2300

I could get value from two pairs, or I could get smeared by made flushes, straights or boats (or higher trips).

I decided to just check it back.

What think you?

Yeah I think you made the correct post draw decision! Facing 3 D1 opponents with a solid trips hand is daunting. I know you think you missed out but just think 'If I bet who is calling?', the few suspicious 2pr/trips hands you beat or a shit ton of speculative hands that crush you. I'm never folding but I don't think there is any value to be had here :f_drink:

Cheers

Why'd you discard the A and not the T? Don't play much 5cd but are the aces a lot less likely to be live?

Not a lot may be, but definitely less. And even in this hand you see examples.
