Alright.

Risk: 9.71$
Reward if fold: 12.11$

Equity JJ vs {QQ+, AKo} = ~36%

Reward if call: 0.36 * 20.76$ = 7.4$

Risk
------------------ = 9.71 / (12.11+7.4) = ~0.5 = 50%
Risk + Reward

Alright, you need villain to fold 50% of his range, to make a +EV push, considering this guy only stacks off with QQ+ AK. If he calls a lot of 4bets, I think you're even pushing for value. In case that guy is just very aggressive as 3bettor, but stacks off tight, then you need him to fold 50% of his 3bet range.

So, technically I like this play.

Now comes the population read. A min 4bet seems very nutted. It's very often KK+ or even just AA. So, depending on villain, I think you can push here, but if he showed up with AA or KK make a note, that he min4bets with KK+.

If he only min 4bets KK+, I would call the 4bet and only get it in with a set of JJ.

Calling 4bets OOP with JJ is not good idea generally, since BU 4bet range is usually gonna have a fair amount of bluffs in it, but flops are gonna have 1 or more overcards ~60% of the time so it will be really tough to play. If we think he will 4bet KK+ I guess we can setmine but generally against such guys (who usually also fold a lot to 3b) prefer to just flat pre. If he calls a lot of 3b on BU and only 4b KK+ then we can 3b/c.

Most people will have wide enough 4bet range on BTN that we can profitably jam JJ.
