Can't say I agree, I think QJs will do pretty poorly vs 17% open. Also he is really aggressive postflop which imo should make us even more leaning towards folding.

Postflop is tough, I don't like flatting flop because 6 AF is going to be barreling a lot here, also this flop is very good for him to just barrel off on since we can only really have 88 99 89s and everything else is bluffcatcher. I probably prefer raising flop than turn though also you don't rep much when you raise flop.

Call/call is the line you probably take with sets and he is pretty aggro so possibly call flop call turn jam river over a bet if his wtsd is under 27. But this is pretty messy and high variance, and if we just fold pre we avoid spots like this.

I think we can defend with QJs. It is in 8% range so it can play perfectly vs 17%. We have to be carefull though when we have TP as we play it for the FD and SD possibilities. I would raise the flop. There are over 20 cards that can improve us or help us continue the story. When the board pairs I do not like the raise on turn.

If his overall pfr is 17% imo its a snapfold. Even if his RFI from MP is 17% I still fold, it doesn't matter if QTs is in 8% range, if villain raise no worse Qx, is very aggro postflop we will have a weak bluffcatcher vs a guy who has all overpairs, all better Qx, no worse Qx, will flop some sets too etc. FD or SD don't flop that often (11% for FD dunno about SD) and most of his suited hands dominate QT, only ahead of 98s/87s in flush v flush spots that's even if he open 17% MP which he doesn't.

Also we don't close the action so set up a nice spot for BU-BB to squeeze.

Its just really problematic calling here pre imo.

Heh my mistake but not all that different, except now he have 3 combos QTs that we beat and he probably doesn't go crazy with them anyway.

I don't mind flatting if the guy has obvious postflop leaks, but its not gonna be easy to play profitably vs this guy imo.

A lot of the time we will flop mediocre equity that we have a lot of trouble to realize, such as in this hand. He will 3 barrel often w AF 6 and our hand will almost never be strong enough to call down. Because he is barreling often, but his preflop range is too strong for us to really take advantage of this w QJs
