14bb pre flop squeeze with KK

Here I had eliminated mid pocket pairs pre flop because of the 3bet sizing, also small and medium suited connectors for the same reason, is this bad judgement? I checked the turn to induce the bluff from over pairs JJ, QQ and a lot of Ax, Kx hands, I would have expected AA to 4bet pre flop. Was I wrong to rule out the mid pockets and suited connectors in general? Only had 15 hands on OP, so no info to note.

I don't think it is right to eliminate mid pairs here, as they will constitute a big part of BTN's range. 88-JJ are present here. Villain has position post flop and it is easy for him to play them.

I think because there's the potential for it to go multiway, maybe its profitable for him to setmine even vs this big sizing. I'd still be stacking off here though.

I still think he calls a few PP's because hes IP and he might be hoping that sb will call as well, however, I do think it is just too hard for him to call with SC's.

I like the sizing pre flop but I think you should bet larger on the flop because it is so connected.

On the turn I really dont know, I dont think you can fold this anymore, but he has such a small range that will call you worse, I can only think of JJ.

Anyway, I will keep an eye on this thread, this is an interesting hand, im looking forward to reading opinions from other players.

Raise much much much more PF. I would make it 3.90 - 4.00

Bet more on the flop.

"Was I wrong to rule out the mid pockets and suited connectors in general?" Well, yea. Since you made your PF raise small.

Preflop sizing is fine imo unless someone is definitely a fish and we're going for more value. vs 0.75x open and 2 callers I am making it 3.75, I think 4 is getting a bit too big.
