T9o 2 pair vs river raise

I don't like the check on the turn because you miss value from alot of draw and risck to let him see free cards and get nothing on river.

And OTR you can check and let him bluff his busted draws or even bet for thin value, idk, this one is tricky

I think if we are going for the raise on the flop, we should continue on turn.
Although it is very villain dependant...

Why do you guys think that villian will mostly check his draws on turn (If you say I am losing value from draws)? also I think the value is very thin on this turn card.

and you raise flop for what? to check/raise turn?

Villain will of course check behind on turn with draws when we represent such a strong range by check raising the flop. You need to bet turn large for value as well to charge draws. I can see check calling the river when the draws all miss as well to let him bluff and for pot control.

flop I have clear 3 streets value, and on bad turn card I obviously dont. Plan was to cc turn and blank river.

If you were 100bb deep I would likely bet turn and then decide if I want to bet river or c/c (most likely would c/c, unless we have aggressive history)
Imo river is standard b/c. I don´t expect him never to check back better hands than ours, so his river raise does not make any sense.

Hi, great to have coach answer, thanks. If you also think that value is thin on turn (because you say you would likely cc river), then we can also check turn. If we bet all value hands on turn, villian has easy decision on turn once we check. Since I raise flop usually some GS, nut bdfd, weak OESD, fd, I would also check some of those on turn with a plan to give up. So If I never check hands on turn that will cr or cc turn, then villian will likely bet 100% of time turn to protect vs draws. So I think it is not bad at all if he checks with decent frequency turn, since most of my hands are draws having some outs. If he still bets wide turn, then I get more profit with T9 with a check. Understand what I mean?

If turn is blank then I think you need to bet for value, since you can get called down turn and river from worse hands, but since A is both scary card for you and him then I think check/calling is better option.
