Ahigh on the Qhigh paired board. Bluff/check-f river?

I would start betting on flop 1/2 pot and bet on every :club: turn.

I agree that we should be betting the flop. You do not have to go crazy snd bet 3 streets unless you improve.
Your story is irrelevant here. On such a flop you don't c bet and after the board paired, you start betting.
