No, preflop is not standard. 3bet sizing is way too small vs fish. He has 3.5xed pre so you can make it $2 or more easily.

Flop I think you can bet smaller like $1.15 to get called from weaker flush draws, Jx and mainly to induce spew. Betting half pot here seems button-clicky.

Can we x/call the flop as we do not have enough equity and FE?

I have a problem with the term "standard". It is used exclusively to trying to justify plays without actually justifying them (the average player (= loser) at NL50 does this, bla bla, ... the video by mid-stakes wizard XXX says bla bla bla...). There is no universal "standard". It is individual and depends on the mood of the performer (did he get laid lately).

On the flop the play get rough, we wont know if it is true love until we see a heart

The term "standard" for me means that I'm doing it 99-100% of the time. So, I'm almost always (or always) 3betting KK SB vs BTN. Maybe I should write "As usual". ♦

Sorry, I wasn't referring to you really (or anyone in particular). The problem is that there really are players using the term and think they are referring to some universal "standard" optimal play. At least they pretend to refer to some such standard. One nice example is when Tom "durrr" Dwan justified a brain-dead move versus Helmuth (or was it Matusow?) by referring to it as "standard" on the internet. I'll try to dig up a link.
