Me and my friend are really working hard on our game, but we havent managed to work ourselves out of micros in a year. He is still at 10NL and Im struggling at 25NL. We both play zoom at PS. There are probably many more guys like this.. Im not waiting for a life changer answer, just looking for opinions on what could be the problem and what should we do?

Volume isn´t the problem and we both started the year from 10NL.

It's hard to know what the problem is without further information. I can recommend thay you and your friend check out w34z3l's 6max walkthrough - (microstakes edition) and No Limit Beginners course with confidant91.

Maybe zoom poker isn't for you. why don't you try regular tables? its much easier to make money since volume isn't a problem. use wise table selection and make your life easier. i have played zoom poker at NL10 with quiet success and a little NL25 and i realized that this format isn't for me, i can't handle well so much variance...
