Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BU (Hero)$9.23:///////;SB$2.45:///////;BB$15.39:///////;UTG1$4.93:///////;UTG2$1.68:///////;MP1$5.78:///////;MP2$5.00:///////;MP3$0.47:///////;CO$4.68:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BU with 9:s, 7:s.
6 folds, Hero raises to $0.12, SB folds, BB raises to $0.30, Hero calls $0.18.

Flop: ($0.62) 8:s, K:h, T:s (2 players)
BB bets $0.32, Hero raises to $0.90, BB raises to $1.48, Hero raises to $8.93, BB calls $7.45.

Villain is 20/11 with 28 percent resteal from BB and 100 percent cbet. So i only noticed his restealfrequentie after my stealattemp. I call because of the huge implied odds and position on loose opponent. I raise his cbet, which i think is quite standard. Things get complicated when he 3bets me, i would expect him to do so with 88/TT/QQ/KK/AA/AK/KT/K8/T8 (maybe even some bluff but not likely) Against this range i have 50 percent equity. Problem is, he will cbet all turns except those containing spades. So i decided to just shove it, getting some fold equity and having ok equity against villain. Either way i think this was a bad play from me, being so deep.

First, how big is your gand sample for that villain.
Second, watch first then act.
Third, I think it is well played.

on flop he bets, we raise, he reraise....
at this point he is usually not bluffing so our fold equity is substantially low... that is why a shove is a mistake
However if he did that play with a mediocre hand like QQ , then we will know on turn and river if he checks(we have position)

Shove is not a mistake with that many outs and 2 cards to come.

I see nobody mentioned the fish sizing 0.9$->1.48$, should have little to no value hands (overpair, sets) . My guess is he had an "unbeatable hand" in his mind, like AKss or KQss, which lowers your equity a bunch.

Absolutely. And we don't mind winning with 9 high.

Hand sample about 190 hands...

@bonecore: you contradict yourself: if he will only call with sets, i definitely have fold equity over villain. I have 50% equity against his assigned range with which he would make the 3bet, If he always calls i'm about breakeven in this hand.

I made some calculations with the range i gave him: If he folds everything except set he will fold around 2/3 of the time (i win 2/3 times 60bb = 40bb and if he calls only with sets i win (42-58)/100*1/3*18.85 dollar = -0.97 dollar = -20bb). So i have an Ev of 20bb, so i should definitely shove this.
