No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

Hero with K :diamond: J
Villain with ??

Flop: (10BB) A :diamond: A  J :club: (2 players)

what is the best play in this situation?? when we have position or not...

my idea:
no position, check raise...
position, check, raise if he bet...

Not the worst idea - without Ax, draw villain most likely folds but only if i'm not holding KJ in this very spot (AAJ) - why would u make him fold with worse hands holding medium pair - call flop and let him bluff turn

Checking on flop with medium pair makes no sense at all, villain most of the time is gonna try to bluff catch u

Could u back that up with arguments?

No position: as I wrote - not my usual idea but i'd x/c him and let him bluff on turn
Position: standard bet

Depends what kind of villain is - aggro, passive etc. I would check / call the flop with this hand almost always.

X/call is standard I think. And if he has an Ace he will show you that. And do not make the pot bigger.
