Hi Everyone,

What would you have done here?

On the flop the pot was already pretty big and I didn't know how to go about it against 2 opponents, hence the meaningless 4bb bet.

Flop: (21 BB, 3 players) 5♣ K♦ 6♠
SB checks, Hero bets 4 BB, fold, SB calls 4 BB

Bigger raise preflop - I would make it 12 BB. Bigger raise otf also - 1/2 pot. And as played I'm calling for 32 bb.

Your raise preflop does not fill your goal- instead of isolating you vs the fish, you invite the BU too and your hand is not ok fot mw pot.
Do not make flop cbets with that size as you do not achieve anything. Bet bigger- 1/2 pot.

3bet bigger pre and bet bigger flop, your small bet will make villain think you are weak and gives them very nice odds to draw. Also what is you reason for 3b T?

Hi guys and thanks for the comments!

Well noted for the preflop raise. It does look a bit small! Will definately work on that.
The flop bet is ridiculous I know, I just got confused with the bloated pot and did not feel comfortable playing it.

When I 3bet the turn in the heat of the action I am thinking that Villain might be holding TPWK, that he is putting me on a bluff and trying to take down the pot. Perhaps I am thinking too much and should take the raise as it is: a strong holding!
