Hero (SB): $20.30 (101.5 bb)
BB: $21.36 (106.8 bb)
UTG: $8.34 (41.7 bb)
MP: $20 (100 bb)
CO: $26.89 (134.5 bb)
BTN: $19.70 (98.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K T
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.60, BB raises to $1.80, Hero raises to $4, BB raises to $6.40, Hero ???

Preflop: The BB is a reg and he resteals alot in this situation (16%), so I decided to 4bet bluff, which I think is the best play with this hand. However, I didn't realize that he is folding to 4bets just 33%.

So, the first question is how to adopt with KTo? I don't think I could just fold it instead of stealing, but should I call to his 3bet instead of 4bet bluff?

Then, his 5bet range is 4% (he is 5betting in 41% of cases out of 17 times when faced with a 4bet). So, as played, what should I do vs this min 5bet? Btw, I don't know what this size means. Can be a strong hand, but can also be that he has a read that I fold alot to 5bets (which is probably true because I don't expect much 5bet bluffs at this limit), so he is trying to make his bluff as cheap as possible and expects me to overfold.

I really not able to give a correct anwser here since I don´t have experience with this situation but I would tend to fold - I guess we are behind even vs a lot of his bluffs.

about playing KT vs this opponent - I think the best would be to make unexploitable balanced range and play it. So pick up hands you will stack off and 4bet/fold rest of your 4bets but be sure to not overfolding - so you cannot 4bet too much. Calling 3bet here vs agro reg - sounds me like a good recipe to get to the bad spot but maybe it´s just because I don´t feel good enough to play it OOP in 3bet spot.

KTo is in the bottom of 16% range. I like the idea of defending vs such a wide range. But I do not like the idea of not executing our plan. Our plan is to bluff re-steal, it did not work out well, so... according to our plan we fold.

But should we bluff when we will be successfull in 33% of cases and we need 60%?

it depends how he's responding to 4bets... if he's defending by 5betting alot then it probably means he can't defend facing a shove enough but need to be careful about levelling ourselfs based on the sample size

i also agree you can 4bet bluff and lay KTo as bottom of range, if he's defending alot by min 5betting alot (really only 33% fold) then maybe we can use a more linear 4betting range like AQ+, 99+ and start jamming over them get it in.

whats your sample size? 33% could be a sample issue?

I thought of calling the 3 bet with depolarized 14% range.

yeah it's close if KT makes the cut or not, think I would rather still 4bet bluff it

I villian is cbetting alot maybe we can consider calling more SC type hands and check raising his cbets when we flop equity

yeah i wouldn't adjust your default based on that, it's around 50% fold is exploitable but we can't gauge too much from that sample size

I still think we should stick to the plan and fold vs the 4bet.
I like the idea of defending depolarized.

Something which came to my mind afterwards. Since he 3bets alot, we can't just fold every hand, so the first thing to do is to tighten up our preflop range. Then, since he doesn't fold alot to 4bets, we can't have a polarized 4bet range against him, so I like the plan of defending depolarized range. But something I need to clear up: Does it mean that we don't have a calling range vs his 3bets? What range should we go broke with when he 5bets?

If he re-steals 16% and fold 33 , he continues with 10-11%.

MP2 41.55% 38.64% 2.91% 77+, ATs+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, AJo+, KQo
MP3 58.45% 55.53% 2.91% TT+, AJs+, KQs, AQo+

So, we don't call his 3bets? We just 4bet and with TT+, AJs+, KQs, AQo+ go broke, right?
