Don't really care about the end result but just curious what types of hands is he showing up with here?
This was a KO mtt too his bounty was at $9 and would have put me tied for the chiplead if i held. Was this just a super unnecessary call on behalf? Snaped it off as i couldn't see him at all doing this with a 5, which i guess means most of his hands was exactly what he showed up with?

I would always Cbet on a wet board like that on the flop.
As played his shove looks extreme fishy. It looks like he don’t want a call here. So I expect a lot of 1 pair hands and draws in his range. So I wouldn’t fold here either.

Further I recommend removing the outcome of the hand next time or put them in a spoiler.

Cheers,

Yes, I agree,
OTF you MUST bet.
His is the perfect hand for him to call you with: A piece of the board and a weak flush draw

Actually his equity is a lot higher than I thought:

Board: 3♦5♣2♣
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    51.11%  50.51%   0.61% { AhAs }
MP3    48.89%  48.28%   0.61% { 8c3c }

If you bet, you get him to fold his weak pair and low FD a lot of the time. That is what is meant by "protecting your hand".

Interestingly, if you hold the A♣: you have much better equity:

Board: 3♦5♣2♣
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    56.41%  55.66%   0.76% { AhAc }
MP3    43.59%  42.83%   0.76% { 8c3c }

Interesting hand -- thanks!
