SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8♥ 4♦ 7♣ 5♣

UTG raises to 3.5 BB, fold, Hero calls 3.5 BB, fold, fold

Flop: (8.5 BB, 2 players) 4♠ 9♦ K♣
UTG bets 8.1 BB, Hero calls 8.1 BB

Turn: (24.7 BB, 2 players) 6♠
UTG bets 11.8 BB, Hero raises to 37 BB, UTG calls 25.2 BB

River: (98.7 BB, 2 players) 2♣
UTG checks, Hero bets 69 BB, UTG raises to 281.5 BB and is all-in, fold

Spoiler

UTG wins 226.6 BB

So my flop call is a little light but on the turn I didn't want to take a passive line in which I had 0 fold equity on the river as villain would still have the initiative. How do you guys play this hand?

Fold or 3b pre ----> You don't want a multiway pot.
Flop fold, there are better spots.

What is the plan on the flop? If you try to answer to these questions:

A) If opponent bets big on the turn, what turn cards we are going to:
- raise?
- call?
- fold?

B) If opponent checks on the turn, what turn cards are we going to:
- bet?
- check?
