top pair + FD 3bet pot

I don't play PLO but I have been told , only draw to the nuts. So IMO a 9 high flush (effectively - even though it is actually an A high flush) is not great the. I would fold as well

Calling 3-bet preflop puts you into lot of difficult spots with this hand. Your hits to TP will be speculative, your other FD is 9-high, A and 3 don't connect with J9. Also your position is the worst, 3-better will act first and then you, so you will not get any information how hard BTN has hit before you must act. You must know what to do postlop, if you're gonna play such hand.

Drawing to nuts is important in PLO, but when SPR gets low, you sometimes just gotta go with it. Here, after you've bet and get shoved on, you need only 30% to stack off. SPR is ~2, so people will stack-off here more lightly than in small pots with big stacks still behind.

If your FD is good, you get +30% against sets. If not, there is possibility that you're totally crushed by hands with better FD & TP or better. When he can't have A of NF here, I think these hands are less likely, he would have had to call preflop with something like A♥: K♣: J♣: -type of hand. It's not impossible, but he will show up with two pairs, FD's, wraps here, I will never bet-fold here with such price and low SPR. (I'd think about our pre-flop play instead if we're having hard time here :f_drink:)

If you only draw to the nuts, you have to fold a ton. If you fold a ton, you will lose a lot.

As The Cook said, problem starts with preflop call. Bad hand to call 3bet, and that flop is perfect example why. Fold pre, fold flop.

Is it even a good opener?

I mean we only have the suited AJ which is good for us. 93 is pretty much trash is it not?

No conectivity ( Well 9J and A3 ) and a weak suite.

It's decent hand to play IP, I would open if BTN is not too aggro.

(you should always know what kind of players you are up against, and do you have position to them or not, this should affect your opening range)

I was thinking that there are no bad hands to call 3bets with in omaha (almost). Correct me if I am wrong but preflop equities of hands are really close and the price we get is always at 2:1or better and even weaker hands have at least 33% equity against AAxx, so I automatically assume that I can't really fold to 3bet. Also where I play I hardly can see any player folding to 3bets (very seldom) even regs.

Yes, you can call with pretty much anything eq-wise, but there are hands and spots where you shouldn't call, or it is at least hard to play profitably. Here is one if those imo, for the reasons I stated above.

Folding pre is terrible, and i don't see why nobody mentions betting flop is quite bad here as well. Check flop, you have quite good visibility and some monster backdoors. As played you can't fold to the shove with all the equity you have.
