Beginner strategy
I am supposed to call preflop, and since this is a re-raised pot my overpair should classify as a monster so I should bet 2/3 pot on flop and turn
My adjustment
When opponent checks on the flop and I hold the Jc, he can't have that many worse hands that will call our bet so I've decided to bet only 1/3 pot
And then bet 2/3 as hands like AK AQ should be tempted to call
Question:
FLOP
If he raises, I would call the raise, stack off on blank turns. He can have a lot hands like AcQs with a lot of equity - would folding ot a check raise be better?
Was I right to bet smaller on the flop, and stick to 2/3 pot sizing on the turn?
