My table image has been fairly tight, so I though this looked like a good spot and hand to steal with. I had noticed SB had been tight as well, and the BB seemed like a fish. Also worth noting that the SB had recently gotten stacked a several hands earlier, but I never saw him do anything spewy (tilt).
I wasn't worried when the BB donked out on this flop, figuring I could easily float him here and take the pot from him if he checks the Turn or try to stack him if I hit my flush. What I didn't expect was the check raise from the SB. I think I have to put him on a strong range here like 88, JJ, KJ. I would think he would have 3bet me preflop with KK. Maybe he's doing this with A8s, AJs, or AKs.
I'm getting 27% to call here, but reviewing this hand later on I'm wondering if I should call here. If put him on a range of AA, KK, JJ, 88, AcJ*, Ac8*, AK, JK, 9T I've got 35.88% equity. So this definitely seems like a call. Curious if my thought process looks right here.
comes on the turn, it will be obvious. Nevertheless, I'm not sure villain will just give up a hand like JJ. Also as said there are the reverse implied odds from running into a nut flush if we complete. I think it's marginal, so you can call or fold depending on how much you like variance.
