88 facing an open shove from tight player

i would call, i think he might not shove as wide as Icmmizer is assuming he might be shoving something like (33+,A4s+,A8o,KTs+,KJ, QJs ~17%), but 88 is Bottom of my Calling-Range here, i also would bear in Mind the SB Player which covers us, also a tight Fold here is good Option

The player is 10/8, but your stats are not reliable here. He might have been tight early in the tournament, and the game is way different when a player has push/fold stack there. So I would be inclined to call 88 here, especially when we are not in danger even if we lose the hand.

I take the point about early on and push/fold time possibly skewing his stats.
Part of teh reason I didnt call was because I was quite happy with my stack and didnt fancy a flip on a table where I felt I could outplay them as there were plenty of bad players, as it turned out I went card dead after this and ended up bubbling.
If I call and lose I've still got 12BB so not totally dead, yeah probably should have called....
