Zoom 4bet OOP x flop monotone

Since people don't cold 4bet bluffing alot in this situation, he doesn't have to slowplay something like KK+, but it's certainly possible for him to slowplay, when he could maybe hope that MP or CO will join or whatever reason he might have. Some of the time he has something like AK or JJ-TT which he is not comfortable to stack of with. AQ is also possible, I believe, but not that often.

However, how would you play JJ if he shoves to your 4bet?

As played, I think that we could bet small this flop, something like 1/3, targetting calls from AK with spades, protecting a bit against AK with or without spades and also blocking semi-bluffs, with intention of folding if he raises. If he calls the flop, I would put him mainly on flushdaws because expect KK+ to protect vs flushdraws. So, if he calls and the turn is not A, K or spade, we could shove (we will have like 2/3 bet). Really not sure on this one, it's a tough spot, indeed. Check/folding is probably also fine.

On flop is x/f actually.

I like Alleen86's suggestion. We have a decent hand and would like to play it but we really can't x/c so it would be better to bet ourselves.

If we decide to bet, we should be bet/folding then.

It's a tough spot, that's for sure. I don't mind check/folding but if we decide to stay in the hand, I think we could play it that way. Would be nice to hear nitrol's or somebody else's explanation why check/folding is such a clear option there, though.
