Hi,

flop : I'm doubting between a big bet for protection + value but I find it difficult to see a lot of hands which i'm doing okay against.

I think his range would be QQ-88, AQs-AJs, KJs+, K9s, Q9s+, J8s+, T9s, 98s, AdTd, KdTd, Ad8d, Td8d, Ad7d, Ad6d, Ad5d, Ad4d, Ad3d, Ad2d, AJo, KJo+, K9o, Q9o+, J8o+, T8o+, 98o

I have 52-48 against that range

Turn changes nothing
River helps him more then it does me : odds shift to 46-53

so please tell me if I should continue on Turn & River ?

BTN: $25.58 (VPIP: 18.39, PFR: 13.22, 3Bet Preflop: 2.47, Hands: 663)

MP: $10.00 (VPIP: 6.00, PFR: 4.00, 3Bet Preflop: 5.00, Hands: 50)
Hero (MP+1): $11.84
CO: $10.04 (VPIP: 34.32, PFR: 15.50, 3Bet Preflop: 1.90, Hands: 273)

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has Q♥ K♥

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, CO calls $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, fold, fold

Flop: ($1.05, 3 players) 9♦ Q♦ T♣
Hero bets $0.55, CO calls $0.55, fold

Turn: ($2.15, 2 players) 4♣

I think most villains would raise sets and straights on the flop. Your flop bet is fine. Turn is kind of blank so I think it is ok to bet again. River is a fold.

Using the range u gave, u have 43,99% on equity.
At the same time, the equity needed based on this river bet is just 29,07%. Thus, its a mathematicaly correct call.

But I have to say that the range u said is a bit optimistic.

Flop cbet is ok. It is mw and I don't know if the size is ok.
Turn bet is also ok. There are a lot of hands that will call - FDs, SDs, P+Draw.
On river, even if I add missed draws, that he wouldlike to bet as a bluff it looks like this:
MP2 26.89% 24.53% 2.36% KhQh
MP3 73.11% 70.75% 2.36% QQ, TT-99, AJs+, A9s, KJs+, K9s, QTs-Q9s, J9s-J8s, T9s, 97s+, QcJc, AJo+, A9o, KJo+, K9o, QTo-Q9o, J9o, T9o

Me, personally, is not calling. :)

It sucks when villain bets that hard on a pairing river. Seems like he is not afraid at all.

Bet bigger OTF. Our hand is too strong to just give up straight away, even if it is multi-way. This way we can really punish the villain if he is chasing some draws, also he will often call with worse draw+pair type hands. Also bet bigger on turn.

As it is NL10 there is very small chance, that villain bluffs river, although it would be a good spot to take the pot from us by turning some Txs and busted FDs into bluffs, which he all is having because of the small bets.

Thats true. Tx and such weak hands still in his range bc hero size of bets. Good point.

that was the whole dilemma : I can bet 70-85% but al hands I put in his range have hit + at least a gutshot or flushdraw.

It seems that protecting here is not gonna accomplish a lot because he will not be folding these hands.
Positive would be that I can pick up a bigger pot if he misses but I don't have that of a big advantage (52-48) against his range to feel good about building a big pot here.

Find this one very difficult.

Unless we have a read, that he can turn his average holdings into strong semi-bluffs we should not be affraid of villain calling our bets. If we bet for protection, it is with an intent that villain folds or calls non-profitably. By betting 1/2 pot we don't accomplish any of those goals, villain calls even weak made hands or gets good odds to chase his infinite number of draws (and do the correct thing by calling). If we bet bigger on flop we:
1) Get more money when he folds turn with his weaker holdings.
2) Build the pot for the times when we hit straight (But not 2-pair in this particular scenario) and get all the money in vs his top-two or pair+FD.
3) Have generally better understanding where we stand in the hand and fold accordingly (Cause, yeah, we're not in good enough shape to face aggro and will get bluffed out sometimes. But this is microNL, where people mainly play cards not poker).

When I come to think of it, straight up x/f on flop would be a better option then placing 1/2 pot bets in this situation. Or maybe not, dunno, I don't know jack about poker (bad pun intended).

And this ultra drawy board surely allows us to bet bigger, and still get paid.
