Villain is a fish (64/5). Flop and turn pretty std, just trying to get value. On the river I decide to check and he shoves. Std fold or should we call?

Edit: I think what made the river awkward was my bet-sizing. Bet bigger so he has under pot left on the river?

Vs such villains 64/5 you can brt small on river and fold vs aggression.

I think you played the hand pretty well. Only thing I would do differently is, I would have still led out on the river for maybe half the pot. And would fold if raised.

I was thinking more like 20% pot. Bet/folding 25BB there is pretty gross but I doubt we'll ever get bluffed by such a passive villain so a 10BB/fold line gets value from lower pairs and lets us get away when he has A7 etc

Me, would bet turn bigger (close to pot size). Even more when facing such fish.

I think you played this fine.. As others have said you can bet small and fold to a raise OTR. You could bet turn bigger also.
