IPoker, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $1.96 (98 bb)
BB: $1.94 (97 bb)
UTG: $2.88 (144 bb)
Hero (MP): $2 (100 bb)
CO: $0.79 (39.5 bb)
BTN: $2.57 (128.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q Q
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.08, CO calls $0.08, 3 folds

Flop: ($0.19) J 4 A (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks

Turn: ($0.19) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.14, CO calls $0.14

River: ($0.47) A (2 players)
Hero bets $0.32, CO raises to $0.57 and is all-in, Hero calls $0.25

villain - VPIP: 23, PFR: 13, 3B: 0, AF: 3.0, Hands: 52

CO has a 100% of Fold to CBet so as OOP I decide to do not bet, also his missed CB IP is 50 e may have or may not Have some sort of Ax as he can easily have some Jx too, I decide to come out and Bet the Turn and I didn't like his call as no draws that he may have in his range seems possible (only a 35 but even if the scissor between VPIP and PFR is so large and with the small sample I don't think he has such hand) a threat tbo is still an Ace that may be the problem, with the second Ace on the board I see decrease the possibility of him to have and Ace due the cards removal effect and I focus his range on something like JT, KJ, and thew other sort of Jx, so, Im afraid to get a check back if I check and by now I definitely bet for gain some value. After his raise I think the call may pass even if I need a 19% of Equity and here Im not so sure anymore if I got such equity after review the hand!

Big mess up?
Crap reading?

Thanks :)

In my vision, you have to check all streets. There is no reason to make bet.
CO has a 100% of Fold to CBet so as OOP, but villain in IP, not OOP.

Why did u open in MP for 2X do you always open like that and if you do do you have any good results with that strategy. If you have small sample his FTCB doesnt mean any thing..... if I would open 3X I would bet flop and turn Xc river but since you check flop I think the best opiton here is xc xc.

If you bet smaller on the river the fold is much easier. You're looking to get value out of Jx, so you can bet $0.12.

I do not like betting here. Villain's stack is so small that beting means you are commiting.

Agree, in game didn't notice as iPoker require a lot of "hard finger and patient :f_biggrin: " but once I bet there, yes, I was committed (effective stack I mean) and I think I cannot fold anymore even cards up ... or I m wrong on that?

Thanks :)

I think check/calling all streets, assuming the bets on turn and river aren't too much, is what I would do.

I think that your turn and river play is poor- I would bet smaller on the turn and would definitely not be bet/calling the river- Ax is very much in his range and there aren't many bluff combos.

Hero opened 4x in this hand.

Just the river I think we could play it differently, betting really small to not commit and still be able to fold vs a shove.

I think you can bet turn but river is x/f or a small bet targeting Jx?

How much I should bet there please to do not be committed as the effective stack is so small?

TY :f_smile:

I have a big issue with the turnsizing. I think it's fine to go for some thin value. BUT I would rather size 2x really small (like 1/4 pot) instead of betting almost pot and folding out hands like Jx

1/4 is too small and can induse a bluff raiseto which we would fold. 1/3 is better, imo.
