Hi guys! this is very probably a potbet/shove. My question is, how do you decide whether you have a bet folding range on that given flop or you should potbet and commit. I have 41% against this range : 73+,456+,567+ their probable shoveing range.

Because whenever I have no bet/folding range I bet pot for maximum protection. 88 I'd not pot it of course, but it does not need that many protection than AA, and balancing is not that important at these stakes imo. or would it be better to bet like 2,3?

this hand is a good candidate to include in my b/f range I would say. I myself would bet around 2$ - 2.5$ (my 3betting range almost never includes 88, 77, 33) with both my b/f range and my b/getting it in range (o/c depending on SB action since he has best rel pos). I think villains range is more like T98; JT9... Wether or not you decide to b/f or b/shove in my opinion betting pot is spew. But if you do you should pot it with 88 as well b/c this is a very strong read you dont want to be known for.

It's irrelevant. It's a low SPR sqz spot. You barely have any 88xx combos and AKQJ doesnt even think about betting for any size.

Because whenever I have no bet/folding range I bet pot for maximum protection.

If you have bet-folding range, then the betsizing cannot be irrelevant. If hero has no bet-folding range, then just pot it.

Well, I think a vacuum play is to pot. I wouldn't be overly concerned with balanced.

Still, in this situation we a) dont have 88xx like ever b) we dont need to adjust for sizing with AKJQ, we wouldn't bet that hand in the first place.

88 is there with some double paired hands.

In these situations I think betsizing is important. If we want to stack off against opponent, pot bet isn't the best option. If we want to maximize FE, pot bet is the best option. If we pot, we also have to be succesfull more often when bluffing. If we are bet-folding, I wouldn't choose pot bet. If we want to stack off when we have a good enough hand, I wouldn't want to bet pot. The only hands I would like to bet pot are the hands that I am semibluffing with.

So in my mind the bet sizing is important.
