Does villain have a history of FPS? Is he going to call and try to trap with AA/KK PF -- out of position?
You cannot believe he has a hand like 66 -- though it is possible I guess -- people suck at poker.

Villain could easily have AK also -- what does your 500 hand history tell you? Seriously -- you have to have some kind of read after 500 hands!! How can you expect a meaningful discussion centered around 3 basic stats?

In the absence of any read your line is fine -- you fold a hand that splits at best -- his line smacks of value.

It's weird he might have got into the pot with 33 66. Either that or he pulled off a bizarre bluff and got stuck on the turn with no possition nor decent hand and decided to continue that show of confusion.

Yes, the x/r smells like trouble. I indeed would value bet as well OTF but after the x/r I would most probably lay down the hand because I think you are drawing at best.

Tight player call 3bet OOP and then x/r F. His calling range could consist of all PP, personally I don't believe he would call w 33, but nevertheless….Beside PP villain calling range could also have some suited cobos like AcQc, AcKc or KcQc and trapping w KK+. So, I believe villain would raise w sets, and combodraw (TP+FD) and think hero is behind OTF.
BTW villain raise bet looks like value raise. I'm not clear about that so maybe someone could give you better opinion and say what is standard raise size in 3bet pots.

Thank you for your hindsight. I put so little stats and no reads because I wanted to know more what you do in this kind of situation about tight or unknown player.

I had a read on him that he might pull something like that c/r as value line and he had a bit of a knack for pulling this fancy plays.

To be honest, I would have folded on the flop. I like your 3bet preflop, but his check/raise on that dry board is a fold for me.
