SB: $22.10 (138.1 bb)
BB: $18.76 (117.3 bb)
UTG: $16.59 (103.7 bb)
MP: $17.09 (106.8 bb)
CO: $25.35 (158.4 bb)
Hero (BTN): $17.12 (107 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with K 8
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.48, CO calls $0.48, Hero raises to $1.92, SB folds, BB calls $1.76, MP folds, CO calls $1.44

Flop: ($6.32) 9 7 A (3 players)
BB checks, CO checks, Hero??

Preflop: Decided to bluff squeeze because MP is a reg which folds 90% to 3bets. CO plays 20/14 in 193 hands.

Flop: BB plays 50/25 in 12 hands. CO folds 38% to flop cbets. What to do here? I have just a backdoor SD, so I would imagine this is a spot where I have to check and give up later streets in most cases.

Checking back sounds good.

Nope. I dont like checking back. You have to try to represent the A. Actually this is your only chance to win the pot. You have to continue with the agression.
If you give up the pot, check back is ok.

Well, If it was a HU pot, you should have cbetted. As you are mw...xb seems right. Do not turn your +EV preflop move into a -EV postflop one...

The problem is, we are not HU and do not have enough FE vs 2...

You are right but i belive we have to bluff in multiway from time to time. Otherwise we get explioted. Plus our range here is strong and we have a alot an A in it.

We can find better hands to bluff in MW pots. Villains range is strong too and can have some Ax. FDs will continue also. CO's fold to cbet is low. There is no point in bluffing this if villains will not fold. As nitrol said we should not turn our +EV preflop move to -EV postflop move.

There is no need to bluff in mw pots.

That is true. We can bet with some draws and pairs etc but bluffing is not necessary.

You need to bluff very little 3-ways in order to avoid exploitation. That is at NL100+ (or whatever) you need to bluff a little something. Not so here. The board is particularly bad for bluffing as well. An A + draws to flushes and straights.

I strongly disagree with the choice of hand to 3-bet with. Suffice to say that T♣:7♣: would be much better.

Why not K8s? It has blocker.

It has. Admittedly. The counterargument is that when we are called, we'll have a tough time when hitting a K. Hitting a T (with T♣:7♣: ) is less dangerous and most such flops can be bet for value.

I understand, but as we squeeze as a bluff we should proceed carefully postflop when called.

Agreed. The important thing is to be aware of all these little things. The better we are postflop, the more we can squeeze.

This is my philosophy too. :)

In one of w34z3l's videos he said that people should bluff in multi-way pots much more than they do because opponents generally play straight-forward multi-way, so we will probably get just the same amount of folds as we do in heads-up pots. His advice was that if we would bluff the board heads-up in position, we should probably bluff that board multi-way, too. The question is - would we bluff this board with this hand heads-up in 3bet pots.

There is a reason that people play straightforwardly multi-way. It is the right way to play multi-way. You should play straightforwardly too. This doesn't mean abandoning bluffing. It means cutting down on it very significantly. If it is 4-ways or more, then you probably shouldn't be bluffing ever.

Weren't those "bluffs" in his video mostly draws and middlepairs etc, no complete air with BDSD as you have here? If this was heads up 3bet pot I think we should bet.

I know we should play more carefully multi-way, but his logic is - if they play straight-forwardly, they won't float us lightly and they won't bluff-raise us almost ever, which means that we have a bunch of fold equity, so we should exploit that in position.

The words were something like "if you would bet that board heads up in position, you should probably bet it multi-way, too, because you will probably get the same amount of folds".
