Preflop: Both players are regs. What would be the best move there?
We have to defend here. If we just call MP gets better odds to join the pot and I'd like to be heads up so 4betting is the way to go 
I have to defend, I agree. If I call, MP will probably join and I don't think the situation will be profitable postflop overall. BTN range is, from my experience, very strong there when he squeezes an UTG, so if I 4bet, I expect him to join often (mostly by shoving) and I have to make a crying call, of course. So, my 4bet would be a semi-bluff, but I actually like it the most (might be that the combination of fold equity and pot equity make this move profitable).
In the hand I called, MP joined, I missed the flop and check/folded.
