Hero (SB): $16.43 (102.7 bb)
BB: $25.24 (157.8 bb)
UTG: $12.48 (78 bb)
MP: $13.66 (85.4 bb)
CO: $35.79 (223.7 bb)
BTN: $16 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 9
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.48, BB raises to $1.56, Hero calls $1.08

Flop: ($3.12) 7 7 J (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks

Turn: ($3.12) K (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $1.68, Hero calls $1.68

River: ($6.48) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $4.48, Hero folds

Preflop: Standard open. BB reg is exploiting me and 3betting 18,2 against me (142 hands on him), so I can't just fold 99. He plays 24/21. Decided to call. Should I 4bet and try to get it in?

Flop: Decided to check and probably call if he cbets. He cbets 83% (33% in 3bet pots).

Turn: K is a good card for bluffing, so I decided to check/call, but not sure if that's a good move. His delayed cbet on the turn IP is 2/2.

River: Now I probably can't do anything but check/fold.

You should fold turn. You do not know what to do if he barrels river, as he did.

after two times a check mostly a double barrel on turn and river. The K is a good bluff... but you cant call

Villain can stab you and bet river too with wide range because you check to him twice. I understand very well why you called turn and at the table I might have done the same. Now when I think about this would it be better to donk turn?

I do not like donking. Kx will call anyway.

Yea but if villain exploits us preflop he doesn't necessarily have that many Kx. By donking we don't let him bluff. That way we would decide the bet size and we don't have to invest anymore to the pot if villain calls. Checking twice just seems a bit exploitable especially vs villain who is already exploiting us. But x/f is not bad.

BB has a ton of Kx - at least AK for value, and numerous Kxs/Kxo for bluff...

Everyone knows that when villain checks to you twice, the pot is yours. I think it is too weak to x/f this. If we are going to check this down and fold to any aggression, wouldn't it be better to 4bet or fold pre?

I think you are messing it up. Villain checks flop and you suggest us donking on turn. This is only one check...

No no, from villains perspective.. We check flop and turn so villain can stab us with 72o. I would. I think it is profitable to bet 100% if someone checks to you twice. That is why I think checking twice and folding is too weak.

Mmmm, villain is the pfa and it is a 3b pot. Not exactly weak.

I don't give him much credit if he 3bets 20% against us.

Change table. Having a competent reg on your left wise enough to 3-bet 20% and then plays well postflop is not a good spot. You make mistakes this hand, and they are induced by villains own mistakes (like 3-betting too much), which are much smaller than your mistakes. (He's trading mistakes and you come on the losing end in these deals.)

Don't misunderstand me here. You aren't making any blatant obvious giant mistakes, but the mistakes are costly since villain has manipulated the pot size to something uncomfortable for your hand and position (out!). His flop check indicates to me that he knows precisely what he is doing. Change table.

Well, it is important to see his 3b vs us from these positions too. But still good play from him.
