That river x/r is usually for value. Only hand that got there is QJ, which is possible but not that likely. I assume he would have raised his sets earlier. I think you played this well. His raise OTR can be AK,AT,KT too.

AK is unlikely, as he would bet it himself on flop. KT is raising the turn. ATis possible...

You miss value by not shoving all-in on the river. Other than that wp.

What worse is calling the river shove?

Villains x/r OTR is very strong move. Only 2 pair hand he will call is top 2 (AK), which is unlikely as nitrol said.

AT is possible but not sure he is xr the river.

I can find a fold here on two accounts:

The human account; villain is rarely bluffing here and can have everything the board allows him to represent (weighted with various probabilities) that beats us.

The GTO account; villain invests 3 to win 2.5 on a possible bluff. He needs to succeed 50+ of the time. Our hand is not in the top 50% of bluff catchers (I personally have TT in my range here, and maybe a stray AA/KK.)

Both approaches say fold river.

It is possible and he might x/r it on the river but is he going to call a shove with it? We are deep and there is plenty of better hands in our range than AT.

That is enterprising and would be a nice move at NL500. Not here.

you played it fine. he played it bad in my opinion. aside of that the river check raise... yeah. that sucks. after him being silent for 2 streets.. i dont know. i usually dont give him QJ on the river , other slow played sets... maybe but well
