Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

SB: $1.89 (37.8 bb)
Hero (BB): $6.31 (126.2 bb)
UTG: $5 (100 bb)
MP: $5.20 (104 bb)
CO: $4.31 (86.2 bb)
BTN: $5.17 (103.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T Q
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.15, SB folds, Hero calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.32) T T 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.20, Hero raises to $0.65, BTN folds

Results:

Spoiler

$0.72 pot ($0.03 rake)
Final Board: T T 4
Hero mucked T Q and won $0.69 ($0.34 net)
BTN mucked and lost (-$0.35 net)

So.. What to do here? I want to increase the pot but if I donk I kind of reveal my hand? Is x/r too obvious also? Was my raise size too big? Do I get max value if I just call and let villain barrel? No info on villain.

Board is dry and paired. You are not afraid and should just call. The raise is scary for villain.

Yup, this dry board is not good to raise. I was thinking about just calling.. Should have done that.

Raise size is fine. If flop was something like TT9 with fd then it would be ok to raise.

On this flop I am just calling and hope that villain barrels.

You can always think that what possible holdings villain can have and how do they react to your raise. It is hard for villain to have even a pair on this flop --> he will likely fold.

What do you guys think about bluff raising these flops?

Vs villains with high cbet it would be good to bluff raise dry paired boards?

Well, that would have good fold equity. I would still like to have some equity there if I decide to bluff x/r.

BTW: did villain make a mistake when he cbet this flop? It usually doesn't hit neither one of us and hence shouldn't get much folds. At least I'm not folding to cbets on that kind of flop.

It maybe so. Paired boards are scary for villains.

No. He should pound this board relentlessly.

+1 he has tons of FE here (there are not that many players in NL5 who care about other player's cards), and he has to balance his range because he's not always bluffing.
If he bets only with a T or an overpair here you're never going to call.

In fact he should xc his Tx and pound everything else.

I guess that is correct. I usually cbet these flops too because most of the guys fold too much to cbets.

If villain is a thinking player who knows me, then it would be different? Because in reality versus me he doesn't have so much fold equity. On this board I'm going to call with a wide range. Is that wrong?

If villain is good thinking player and he know that you float a lot on these boards then he can barrel a lot of turn cards too as you will have weak range there too. Most players don't adjust like that though (they just cbet and give up) and you can float and steal the pot on the turn.

If you float a lot I would adjust by cbetting and having a wide check/call range on the turn(with value hands) or by barreling more turns with my air.

Nothing wrong with that.
