Hero (SB): $14.23 (142.3 bb)
BB: $10.83 (108.3 bb)
MP: $5 (50 bb)
CO: $11.87 (118.7 bb)
BTN: $10.37 (103.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A A
MP folds, CO raises to $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, Hero raises to $1.20, BB folds, CO calls $0.90, BTN calls $0.90

Flop: ($3.70) 8 4 8 (3 players)
Hero bets $1.55, CO calls $1.55, BTN raises to $3.70,
Hero??

Preflop: Decided to squeeze. The size could be a bit bigger, though. CO plays 39/22 in 102 hands and BTN plays 22/16 in 224 hands. When they called, I mostly put them on mid pocket pairs and better broadways.

Flop: Hit an overpair and decided to cbet. Not sure why the sizing is that small because I thought that I bet 1/2. Probably a misclick. The CO called and BTN raised. 8x and 44 beats me, but there are still overpairs possible + it's not that likelly that they called with 44, 98 or 87 preflop. Anyway, I believe that folding is the best play.

Probably is best to fold BTN seems like a reg they wont do this a bluff ever in nl10. You can bet bigger on the flop given the fish.

I don't know if many guys call squeezes with 98,87. 44 is close. 88 still possible. So are other overpairs and maybe some flush draws.
I might just push here.

Yea I think I changed my mind.. That raise size vs 2 looks like that he really wants us to go crazy = he has nuts.

And remember, he may have 8x as he gets good odds to stay preflop.

Maybe. I wouldn't call a squeeze with those. Maybe. He could have 44 also.

And he is not calling a just a squeeze. There is a squeeze and a call. It is different.

So, here is the outcome of the hand. I shoved, thinking that is not likelly that someone called preflop with 8x or 44. CO called and BTN folded. :f_o: CO showed 44.
As I said, I believe bet 1/2 and fold if someone raises is the best play in this situation.

I agree with 1/2 pot cbet and fold to a raise.

btn can call with suited connectors so he can have some 8x on this spot.

Its nice to see that villains are calling your squeeze with 44. Bad call by him pre.

You can think of calling once if not mw. His play on flop screams VALUE. ..

Well, one can argue that he has implied odds to do so and he closes the action preflop.

Yup, villains play definitely looked like he has 44, 8x.

Actually, CO called my squeeze with 44 and he is not closing the action, so I think his call is not good. Probably he thought that BTN may join, but there is no guarantee that he will + he might decide to 4bet.

I don't like that call either.

In this way his call was really not good.
I wonder with what BU raise/folded...

Imo BU might have had FD and figured he was beat or just big balls and thought he'd make strong play here and get people to fold, because only hands they'll continue are 44 (and AA ).
