are we ever folding here??
Thanks!
No, good call. Without reads/stats suggesting that villain is supersuper tight I would never fold KK pre flop. 3bet shove pre looks kind of fishy and I have seen a lot worse hands than AA here.
No. But the question is warranted. There is a thin line somewhere (X bb) that probably shouldn't be crossed.
Probably always a reluctant call. If you want to reduce the high variance that comes with spots like these you can:
1. Fold (you only invested 3 BBs and spots like this should not appear that often)
2. Leave the tables once you reached 200bb and rejoin with a new entry ( shouldn't be a problem on zoom right?)
I like the second version better. Deep play can be very very different to 100bb poker and you might entirely destroy your winrate with a few bad decisions.
Man, this is a place where you can fold your KK and move on. That deep, i do not see villain doing this with Ak, QQ...
I can't fold the second best starting hand there either, even though we are deep.
Always expecting to see him flip over the dreaded AA though, but I have seen people do it with AQ and AK at NL2. ♦
