Hello,
I was just about to call it a day and then this hand turns up!
Preflop: I've seen j9s in some UTG opening ranges, and I like to be a bit looser when the table seems a bit on the tight side.
Flop: How about that, top pair and backdoor flush. There are lots of cards I can barrel on the turn so i cbet. Don't really want a large pot so just over 1/2
Turn: One of the barrelling cards I was hoping for. I'm not great with bet my bet sizing in different situations so any advice here is much appreciated. After the raise we get 26% pot odds. If we count our 2pair and trips outs then we need 30% to call. If we think we are up against a set then only 9 outs so 18%. 26% is somewhere in the middle of those two numbers so I think my call was ok. I wouldn't have thought villain would raise here with a better flush draw, so I don't think we have reverse implied odds.
River: We hit our 2pair but we get a jam. How about that. Hard to fold (or maybe not) and hard to call.
Thanks
