PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 9.52, PFR: 4.76, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 21)
Hero (SB): 109 BB
BB: 127.2 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 3)
UTG: 58.6 BB (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 25.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 8)
MP: 117.4 BB (VPIP: 17.24, PFR: 11.49, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 91)
CO: 42 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 1)

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A♣ 4♣

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) 3♥ 5♣ 8♦
Hero bets 3 BB, BB calls 3 BB

Turn: (12 BB, 2 players) 9♣
Hero bets 7 BB, BB raises to 19 BB, Hero calls 12 BB

River: (50 BB, 2 players) J♦
Hero checks, BB bets 46 BB, fold,

On the flop I have some back doors and overcard .. I think I can continue.
On the turn I "hit" my FD and I decided to continue and make 5x, 8x and pp to fold. Would you also continue here or play x/c?
He gave me quite good odds... I need 24% to call:

Stół: 3♥5♣8♦ 9♣
       Equity  Wygrana  Podział
MP2    20.70%   20.70%    0.00% { Ac4c }
MP3    79.30%   79.30%    0.00% { 99-88, 55, 33, 76s, 76o }

I am a little bit under but I think when I hit, I could be payed off.

I would xc turn. Our equity is not that high and we should play according to odds.

I think it is ok to play this draw aggressively sometimes. Check calling sounds fine too.

Seems fine on all streets; I could sometimes see semi bluffing the turn and jamming. x/c-ing the turn seems fine as well on this texture but I prefer betting in general.

The board is low and yet he calls. I think we don't have FE here OTT and we should go for a x/c since we do have indeed opportunity here.

Here's an argument for betting turn: If we hit, we can credibly represent a non-flush on the river (if we hit). This removes the risk of getting a check-behind OTR or an uncalled river donk on a 3f board. Just a thought.

As you see many players are betting turn.

I like the turn bet. You fold 5x and overs which had decided to float the flop.

You also have flush draw, gutshot and an over card. By check calling turn you lose the initiative and it would be very hard to extract more value on the river in case you hit.

If opponent only calls turn you can fire a bluff on any 6, 7 and an overcard.
