First give your thoughts on that.

Ok, so I guess he mostly has in his range pp like 77-JJ (maybe more) and some suited broadways QJs, JTs, KJs+ AJs+, AJo+,
When i c-bet here, I instantly throw away his pp, so at least 24 combos.
JJ, so 3 combos, will usually raise this flop.
AJ, KJ, JT will probably call once and give up turn.
AQ and KQ will probably call twice.
QJs ... probably call down.

I feel I am wrong :f_biggrin: but I would c-bet here for 55%.

I think it is fine to bet. If we check villain can start stabbing us and usually we can not call. I would bet OTF around 1/2 pot and then get passive.

This is anyway a difficult spot and opinions probably vary here. A better question might be 'how could we best determine this as a bet or check?'

I think that most players will call their pairs and villain's range connects with the board.

I think that if we check, there is a good chance that villain stabs us with anything. If we bet, we can fold out at least 1/3 of his range immediately and then he might check behind OTT. And we still have decent equity against his calling range. I would rather bet myself, narrow his range a bit, keep the aggression and aim for cheap showdown instead of going to check call mode. I think if we 3bet AK and then play fit or fold postflop, it is not good.

If we x/c flop and x/f turn, we lose around the same amount of money if we would have bet flop and x/f turn. But by betting we accomplish that villains range is narrower and he is more likely to check turn behind.

What do you think?

I think we should cbet but not fall in love with our hand if A or K hit on turn.

is it possible that we ever x/f the flop itself here if villian bets something big like 3/4 the pot or is that not a good play?

That is exactly why I like to cbet this instead of checking. Because if we check and villain bets big we are indeed in trouble. Villain might bet with air, or then he has small pocket pair or Jx,Qx.. We still have equity but we would be lost OTT if he bets again and even if we hit we might be behind if villain has AQ,AJ,QJ etc...
I think if we check and villain bets, it is ok to fold there.

Vs passive villains it is not bad.
