Hello, sickbadger! AK is a good playable hand but it is not a made hand and you are generally gambling by going all-in here. It is not -EV because you have FE and can get called by worse but you should always bear in mind the level of players at this stakes and their gambling nature. You had seen that 2 playes called 6x BB raise so they are most likely ready to call AI without a thought coz they don't care. If you feel that you have an edge over your opps, use it in the situations where it earn you money without a big risk.

+1 and I would call pre-flop this hand and her-evaluate the flop and in this case I would check/fold it without hitting the flop.

Thanks guys. My thinking is that it wouldn't be +EV to play such as strong hand passively, call a 6x raise out of position against 3 other players. These SnGs are insanely loose. One of the two callers had A10. The shove was because I felt I should raise there and with such a bloated pot I would have had to put half my stack in pre and fold if I miss flop. Guessed by the nature of the original raise, at worst I was flipping - a gamble but thought most optimal way to play the hand. Plus it's a turbo game, not going to get too many more AKs :f_p:. Perhaps I did play it too hard. Thanks for feedback.

Remember its the 1st hand, you have 50BB, just call in the BB and close the preflop action and see a flop, you dont always have to reraise with AK
