I think he can often have Ax in his range, so folded. On this limit in 3bet pot they probably do not bluff that often. Plus if I call turn, I could still face bet on river.

I would have sticked it in OTF because we dominate most of villain's range. As played, folding turn seems ok here.

Yea, we dominate. But dont you think that on such dry boards minraises can be just air? And if he has overpair, he just calls?

What do you do in his shoes with TT lets say?

And actually I am thinking that minraising with Ax also sucks in his shoes. He could just call.
Hmm, unless he has very weak ace and so he is happy that I fold AK, AQ and so he is not dominated. So maybe there is some sence in his minaising weak suited ace. But don't know, have not seen such strategy recommendations to minraise.

With TT I would just call off. However, we don't know villain's exact hands and thus I see many strong Ax, pp and some lower SC minraising here to try to push you off the hand. SC sounds strange but I already have 4 notes on people who did this on such board. Really strange, perhaps they think with 98s they can win the hand or they block many hands or they can make a straight or they take a leap of faith ;)

I see villain calling with many Ax hands that are behind OTF. Why would you say we call here OTF?

I don't see villain calling 3bets with many 2x hands so only realistic hand that beats us is 77? Going broke OTF doesn't sound bad. Still this is ok as played.

I do not think villain is min raising with Ax...
Why not call? Villain has 2 outs with PP and may bet again on turn.

I don't like this 1/3 cbet OTF. I would bet at least 1/2. His raise doesn't make much sense if he has 77 or A2, so calling is fine imo. We keep his bluffs in the hand. Turn card hits his range alot so I think check/folding is fine.

I like it as played. The only thing that keeps me from calling turn again is that there is one more street (threat of future bets). There is a big chance he bluffed us out, but that is the privilege of being in position.

I have heard from some coach that on dry boards 1/3 in 3bet pot is good. And I like it. Because we are way ahead or way behind. Also this induces bluffs like this. Also induces lighter calls, so more value.

When we bet bigger, player has easier time to fold marginal hands. Now when he has the better odds, he might make more mistakes. Of course we loose some value from his bigger hands this way. So of course there are points for betting bigger. But I guess its just about believe the coach or not believe.

I belive he can have this range. So calling vs this range makes sense - to keep bluffs. Ax does not have many outs, its just one overcard, so I believe its not a problem at all.

I believe vs overcards we have to protect when there are more combos, for example if I had JJ and got minraise, I would think more about protecting vs AK, AQ. Still would need to think - if such cards would minrase often enough. Maybe AK just calls for cheaper price. He can easily bluff turn being in position.

Makes sense, but I believe that on this kind of board we will get wide calls anyway. I believe every overpair and most broadways will call to 1/2 bet.

I think so too. It may still be best to bet smaller. This is not the last street.
