Try to get a deeper understanding of AK

The hand below is more an example than what I am truly hoping to understand.
I have heard a lot of people say that the normal with AK is get play for stacks and I would love to understand the math behind that.

Using the below situation.
Villain shoves for 108.8 BB
Hero has the option to call for 83.8BB (108.8 - 25)
After calling the total pot would be 0.4 + 1 + 3 + 108.8 + 25 + 83.8 = 222BB

This means the pot odds on the call is 83.8 / 222 = 37.74%

If I assign a range to villain of QQ+, AKs, AKo. Then with AhKd I have 38.82% equity.

So with pot odds being less than equity then I can call?
Assuming the range assigned to villain is correct?

PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): 169.6 BB
SB: 34.8 BB (VPIP: 9.38, PFR: 9.38, 3Bet Preflop: 7.69, Hands: 33)
BB: 100 BB (VPIP: 27.27, PFR: 18.18, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 24)
UTG: 103.8 BB (VPIP: 31.25, PFR: 21.88, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 34)
MP: 108.8 BB
CO: 100 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 3)

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has K♦ A♥

UTG raises to 3 BB, MP raises to 9 BB, fold, Hero raises to 25 BB, fold, fold, fold, MP raises to 108.8 BB and is all-in, fold

Spoiler

Hero mucks K♦ A♥

MP wins 54.4 BB

That is indeed right, but I would normal 4bet a little bit smaller. 22bb is more than enough in position.

Yes, according to pot odds we can call.

When we 4bet AKo, I believe we have to call a shove 100bb deep because we will usually have odds to call (like opener calculated) vs average opponent. If we think that villain won't call or shove other than KK, It's better to call a 3bet to keep his range wider. Not sure if there are situations where we can 4bet AK for value (expecting worse to call), but fold if someone shoves (because we know that he will shove with KK+ only)?

If you are 4b AKo, than you should be ready to call itoffand play for stacks.
As for the math - it is ok to call.
