When he checks twice I think it is safe to bluff. 8 completes some draws he might have raised OTF but he shouldn't check those OTR. We have very little showdown equity, maybe we beat QdTd but that's it.

the spot is decent but sizing matters, i don't see how this sizing makes sense. i feel we should either bet about halfpot or bomb it, you don't need to bet this much to fold out the weaker part of his range and you aren't making random pairs fold

I do not think the villain is folding on the river with his monsters.
He checked the turn which is suspicious, but I still think he has a monster.

Yes, I agree. He is checking too much and not betting the turn for value. He is missing value on the river again, strange line.

The problem is that we checked the turn too and he may like to call if we bet river.

In spots like these I really save myself the misery and just check. Actually I am happy to see a free river. The reason why:

First of all, before the Turn, it was a multiway situation and Villain check-raised into 2 Players (which means a very strong range).
Second of all, he could be trapping on the turn and plans to check-raise again.

These reasons combined make me think Villain almost always has a hand he won't fold because the flushdraw misses! And from my experience, people LOVE to call on missed flushdraws.

Also: Imagine what you want to represent. Are you ever checking back a strong hand on the turn?

We lose to combo draws that turned/rivered a pair, 5x of diamonds and A high flush draws. Villain's line is so consistent with those kind of hands and so inconsistent with sets/2pair/top pair that bluffing seems like a good option OTR. A smallish bet would make sure we have the best odds to fold those hands out.
