Hi guys, I recently played a hand in Pokerstars against an unknown (which I assumed was a decent player as the majority of the NL10 pool in Pokerstars)
I want to know if you consider my triple barrell correct in this spot. Here is the hand:
PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4
SB: 103.6 BB (VPIP: 16.00, PFR: 11.18, 3Bet Preflop: 3.27, Hands: 877)
BB: 100 BB (VPIP: 26.98, PFR: 25.40, 3Bet Preflop: 15.38, Hands: 66)
UTG: 74 BB (VPIP: 13.58, PFR: 9.88, 3Bet Preflop: 2.86, Hands: 83)
Hero (MP): 100 BB
CO: 103 BB (VPIP: 22.71, PFR: 18.39, 3Bet Preflop: 7.57, Hands: 2,099)
BTN: 172.1 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 25.00, 3Bet Preflop: 20.00, Hands: 8)
SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB
Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J♥ J♠
fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, BTN calls 3 BB, fold, fold
Flop: (7.5 BB, 2 players) 6♥ 9♦ Q♦
Hero bets 4.3 BB, BTN calls 4.3 BB
Turn: (16.1 BB, 2 players) 4♥
Hero bets 9.2 BB, BTN calls 9.2 BB
River: (34.5 BB, 2 players) A♣
Hero bets 14 BB
I used the scary Ace in the river and bet 14BB to get a fold from a Q of my opponent. Also, I thought if my opponent happens to be a weak opponent I could get a all from TT or even a stubborn 9.
I'm not showing the outcome of my bet to avoid biasing your opinions. What do you guys think about my play and what would you be doing against strong and weak opponents in a spot like this?
Regards,
Gabriel.
