A4s Multiway - Odds vs. Equity

Pre-flop open is what loose, but with 2 fishy players in the blinds it’s not too bad I think.

The flop call will be close I think. He’s pot betting against 2 players and it’s likely he has or a better Ace or 2 pair or better here. So I would fold without reads on him and it’s nothing wrong to change plans if you think calling isn’t good anymore.

As played you beat almost nothing on the river I think or you have seen him do crazy stuff before, but this is a clear fold for me even that you need to win 25% of the time to make the call profitable.

For me this is a standard open from UTG. I open ATs+ and A2s-A5s.
On the flop check calling is the right move imo. Doesn't matter if villain bets full pot, you can follow your plan.
On the river I think it is somewhat reasonable to call again. Villain can have a lot of random stuff, mostly pocket pairs. He really doesn't rep an ace in my opinion. First he bets full pot but when turn almost blanks but gives a flush draw, he checks? Would Ax check there? And then he lowers his bet size OTR. To me this looks like he bluffed flop vs our missed cbet, was scary OTT and checked and because we check river again he continues bluffing. I have seen many bluffs with bet-check-bet line like this.

So I would call here and would expect villain to have someting like 88,TT,QJs etc..

I also agree this is cool to be opened from UTG/EP. Why don´t we bet against 3 opponents? Board is dry, but more ppl in the play bigger chance we get behind. We flopped top pair, can´t we bet OTF and OTT, then check the river?

Board is dry and we don't have to protect much. And it is possible that villain has better Ax and we are out of position. This hand makes a good check call.

I think it doesn't make a big difference but I like to have some stuff in my xc range. Also some aggro guys might barrel 2 streets with stuff but they wouldn't call 2 streets with it.
