Hero (SB): $25.80 (161.3 bb)
BB: $21.23 (132.7 bb)
MP: $17.65 (110.3 bb)
CO: $15.76 (98.5 bb)
BTN: $16 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6♠: 8♠:
MP folds, CO raises to $0.48, BTN calls $0.48, Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, BTN calls $1.52

Flop: ($4.64) Q♠: T♦: 6♣: (2 players)
Hero bets $2.24, BTN calls $2.24

Turn: ($9.12) Q♥: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($9.12) A♠: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $5.12, Hero folds

Preflop: CO and BTN are both reg-alike. I decided to squeeze.

Flop: Is it ok to cbet once and give up? I have a weak made hand and some backdoors.

Turn: Decided to give up.

River: Any point in bluffing there?

I think that flop might hit his calling range and maybe it would be best to just give up.

It’s seems on the optimistic side to squeeze out of position with 86s. You need to have a decent amount of fold equity to make it profitable and you don’t want to play a big pot out of position I think.

I think the squeeze is ok.
Your hand is to bad to go for a x/c so a c-bet is ok.
The problem i see is, that the board hits his calling-range so often. I would not c-bet this board.

I think that you can squeeze this, but I like more connectors with no gap to do it. I think we don´t have to c bet on this flop.

Agree with the others. That flop is no good, A♠:Q♦:6♣: would be much better.

Perhaps save 8♠:6♠: and the like for squeezes in position?

I follow the strategy where I squeeze (and 3bet) speculative hands OOP and call them IP

With this hand I don't care if we are IP or OOP. It is a decent bluff squeeze since villains will fold a lot pre and if they call it might hit nice and be disguised. However if it doesn't hit we can easily give up postflop imo.

I don't think 68s is a good hand to squeeze with. When we squeeze we want as much FE as possible. You are not blocking any strong hands with this combination. I would rather squeeze with hands like KQo, QJo, KJo, KTo etc. When considering to squeeze suited hands I would choose rather hands like suited aces since we will be going for nut flush. Or at least squeeze it with suited connectors and not one-gappers.

As played PF I think it is better to either check-fold or check-raise bluff. I don't know how does your range OTF looks like. What is your whole squeezing range in this spot? If there would be one more spade and we would have a FD OTF I would prolly check-call.

As played OTF I think T and R is ok.

Note: I don't think it is a 100% good idea to have 3bet AND squeezing ranges identicall for certain positions, since when squeezing you need a bit more FE than when just 3bet bluffing one villain.

Why ? U don't need more FE in MW pots ?

No, I was presuming. So what your ranges are and how they differ ?

You do always OOP. It s a fact of life.

You can realize less than 100% of your euqity and guy in position more than 100% of his equity (provided a flop comes of course). Position rules in this game. If you don't get them to fold, you are OOP. IP, you could handle a little less FE because now you are the guy realizing more than the cards allow you.
