I did some calculations and found a difference between the ranges of ICMizer2 and basic poker formula. This is a situation:
blind level is 15/30. BTN raises to 30, SB fold, BB(hero) 3b all in to 480.
BTN raises range is 44+,A2s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,98s,87s,76s,65s,A9o+,KTo+,QTo+,JTo and defend range is 44+,A8s+,KQs,A9o+.
I put these ranges in ICMizer2 and i got the following result
also i did calculations with basic poker formola:
EV = ev(fold)*x + ev(call)*(1-x)
ev(fold) = pot we win when he folds- 105
ev(call) = pot equity*total pot - our cost- pot eguity*975- 450
x = fold equity- 154/302=49
0,01522 EV=35,81 pot equity. I put this number in Power-Equilab to find all winning hands that I can 3б profitable. Аnd here's range:
Тhere is a significant difference between them. Who is the right range? Аnd why there is a difference?
