Hi guys,
I am wondering how to play hands like this one. I find them a little tricky as they are quiet good and I want to get some value, on the other hand it is easy to loose quiet a bit of chips at this stage in the tournament. Basically I am not really sure how to play these spots when not shortstacked (push/fold) and not really deep either ( although in this example I am comfortable with a good 20BB). I tend to fold to avoid loosing chips in post flop plays.
In this hand I choose to minraise as I want to get some value for the hand. Should a raise a little bigger preflop?
I check the flop as we see 2 overcards with which the opponent could easily have called preflop. Then I hit trips, but with the flush now on the board, should I fold this one? I think the opponent might also bet with a pair of aces or queens, as I didn't show any strenght on the flop. Then the river doesn't really change much imo. Really doubting if I should call or fold because of the flush. I didn't really have a read on the opponent.
