Oh yeah you should have 3beted that !
I think as played it's horrible from the beginning to the end, why donking ? I'd x/c flop and turn, and river it's though... anyway river you aren't valuing anything but yourself by betting.

Pre standard 3bet for me.
OTF when I face a half pot donk on a board like this, or a dry paired board, I always raise and take down the pot. If you had hit flush OTF, would you really donk half pot there?
OTT when he called your donk I think his hand is semi strong. I might not continue betting. Or if you bet, you could bet as little as 25% of the pot and still have the same fold equity.

From spoiler I see you tripple barreled here. What range you would give him when he calls you twice? Any flushes in that range?

You played it too weak. Preflop is 3bet. As played bet bigger OTF and OTT. Checking river seems reasonable.

What would you do? Do you mean you would bet bigger if you hit the flop? (My post flop is always confusing when it comes to sizing. Sometimes I feel I go to big and scared people off early then others I don't get enough value....)

With a flush I would just check call and let him do the betting OTF.
By donking we just get a lot of folds.

Agree with the 3b preflop.
I do not like the donk. Play it safe.
