Hi, not sure why I'm posting this here but a second opinion can't hurt as this kind of screws me as I am currently living/traveling through Asia and I more or less relied on Skrill to acess my funds for the past 3 years.
So on Nov 23 I recieved this e-mail from Skrill after they've made major adjustments to their terms of service letting me know that I won't be able to use my pre-paid Mastercard any longer:
"Dear xxx,
Your Skrill Prepaid MasterCard® will expire on 28th November. To ensure there is no disruption in service, please ensure you activate your new Skrill Prepaid MasterCard® which we have sent to your address. To activate your card, simply click here.
If you have yet to receive your new card - please contact customer services here so we can arrange a replacement to be sent to you.
Regards,
The Skrill Team"
According to their terms & conditions:
"18.2. We shall give notice to you of any proposed change by sending an email to the primary email address registered with your Skrill Account.
18.3. The proposed change shall come into effect two (2) months after the date of the change notice, unless you have given us notice that you object to the proposed changes before the changes come into effect. Changes that make these Terms of Use more favourable to you shall come into effect immediately if so stated in the change notice. Changes to exchange rates shall come into effect immediately without notice and you shall not have the right to object to such a change."
Doesn't this clearly state that they have to let me know 2 months in advance to enforce such an adjustment?
Also, I haven't recieved a new card.
