Prepaid Mastercard removed from NETELLER & Skrill

Prepaid Mastercard will no longer be an option for Paysafe Group users in over 100 non-SEPA countries as of November 25.

Popular online poker payment processors NETELLER and Skrill are removing the Prepaid Mastercard option from customers in over 100 non-SEPA (Single Euro Payment Area) countries. 

Skrill customers got the following email this week:

We regret to inform you that as of November 25, 2016, we will no longer offer the Skrill Prepaid MasterCard® in your country. You will not be able to use your card but your Skrill Account remains fully functional and your balance is unaffected. You can withdraw funds from your Skrill Account to your bank account or send money to any other Skrill user or online business accepting Skrill.

Both NETELLER and Skrill are part of the PaySafe Group family of payment processors.

SEPA makes up 28 states of the European Union and six other countries. The full list, which still has Prepaid Mastercard as an option, is as follows:

This means that major poker regions like Russia, Brazil, New Zealand and Australia no longer have Prepaid Mastercard as an option via Skrill and NETELLER. Previous users of Prepaid Mastercard from these regions cannot withdraw back to them, as of November 25, with the exception of Russian and Chinese users who can use their existing cards until they expire.
