Last night I've played against Eric Froehlic (Full Tilt Pro) on my left... and look at this hand : I was on SmallBlind and Eric on BigBlind: he is so biggg

Full Tilt (Cash Game): $5/$10 FL , 5 players

BN ($259.50)
Hero ($222)
BB ($257)
B2 ($192)
B1 ($61.50)

BN is the button.

Precards:
Hero posts the small blind $2.50, BB posts the big blind $5.

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5♣ 7♦ (5 active)
3 folds, Hero raises to $10, BB calls $5.

Flop: 8♣ K♥ 9♣ ($20, 2 active)
Hero bets $5, BB calls $5.

Turn: 8♣ K♥ 9♣ 6♥ ($30, 2 active)
Hero checks, BB bets $10, Hero raises to $20, BB calls $10.

River: 8♣ K♥ 9♣ 6♥ 8♠ ($70, 2 active)
Hero bets $10, BB raises to $20, Hero ???

here we are his stats... Tight-weak-passive IMO

BB
#hands: 299
VP$P: 28%
PFR: 18%
ATS: 48%
WTSD: 32%
PostFlop AF: 1.28

How can I play after his river-raise ?

PS: I think is a good spot for basic players ... so expert players like Yoghii or cirith: please don't give the answer !

I know that's easy for you...

He has so much money I'd take it all in this hand.

Fold preflop of course.

EDIT: Well I want to judge your hand but I wait a few more answers before doing so. :)

agree, it is not in the chart ;)

I would call in this spot and hoping for best... if I 3-bet, he either folds or cap with better hand (full).

Or am I wrong in this spot?

TTT

I play 75o becouse this guy has an high Folded BB To Steal and his WTSD is 32%

300 hands is not a great sample-size, but it's enough for me

so do you think I have to see the charts always ? ;)

shove river, beat 82o

I think with your experience you do not see see charts at all, because you remember them and for example the still need to be tailored for situations lik 1/3 blinds structure...

75 is on gaper, so still hand with pretty potential hit monster.

I just like the couches - line go all-in/fold preflop .

looks like it's not a 1/3 blinds structure on FTP.

I wouldn't resist to raise him and feel the pleasure of taking the money of a "FTP pro". Just playing my 2 cards, cause it's hard to put him on a hand.

When he raise me on the river, it's obvious he's got a hand to do it.... but I have to decide what is the best move : 3-bet or just call ?

There are different FTilt Pro I've played against ... bad players imo

Fabrice Soulier, Maciek Gracz, Barny Boatman: maniacs ( very very bad limit players )
Eric Froehlich (tight-passive)
and ... Mel Judah, Aaron Bartley, Roberto Romanello, Mike Schneider

Mike Schneider I remember plays a good solid game

Of course there are a lot of good players (not FTilt pro) and they are regulars from 3/6+ and win a lot of money on tables

Pro doesnt mean "play well"

Well the preflopplay is not standard but against him ok. As mentioned above I don't want to say what I think about the hand yet. ;)

(Oh I just did it about the prefloppay. )

well... I'have my analys and of course I made my analys (fast analys) when I was playing

I would to know what Yoghi and cirith think ?
:P

Maciek Gracz is a decent HU player for his limit, I think he beats 3/6 relatively easy.

Mike Schneider is more than solid, he beats just about any FL holdem game there is, definitely top10, probably top5 of the world.

For me this is an easy call, he will have a FH too much after your turnplay.

I don't like you turn c/r btw, I don't think he's gonna bet often enough for you to profitably c/r.

I've played with Maciek on Short-Handed ... he is crazy maniac

I know he plays a lot of HU limit... but hu is not my game
I've never tried, just too much up & down I think

Only up no down

You play HU, yoghi ?

Yup, haven't played anything else for months :)

Alright I call the river here only as well.

I would however bet/3-bet the turn as I see him raising here often enough after his flop call. The other reason is that he might not bluff if you check as its still very drawheavy so you would calldown a lot hands here too.

Can you give me an idea of the rake you pay on the different stakes and sites? PP seems to have a very high rake. Titanpoker is very epensive if I saw it right.

What are normal swings? I often see myself start tilting if I lose a stack as I have no confidence in my HU game yet. :/

The rake on partypoker is capped at $0.50 aswell now on HU tables :)

At 3/6 I paid ~2.5BB/100
At 5/10 I paid ~1.8BB/100
At 10/20 ~0.77BB/100

And anything up to 20/40 will follow the same pattern since there are still HU tables for those stakes and rake is capped at $0.50.

I'm not really confident either, I just play fishes or bad regs, up untill now it works fine though

Swings I can't really tell, only played 30k hands HU, but I've had 1 300BB downswing and a couple of 100BB. But I also had an upswing of 250BB in 1.2k hands and 350BB in 2.2k hands so ^^

If you keep your tilt under control (sounds really easy but is probably the hardest thing) and you play fishes only I think that the swings shouldn't be too bad. I find that the swings are less than in SH, not directly BB-wise, but hand-wise, the swings don't seem to last as long.

Thanks. :)
