SB: $2.11 (105.5 bb)
BB: $2.01 (100.5 bb)
UTG: $3.63 (181.5 bb)
MP: $1.64 (82 bb)
Hero (CO): $2.57 (128.5 bb)
BTN: $1.32 (66 bb)
Preflop: Hero is CO with A♣: A♠:
UTG folds, MP calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.10, BTN calls $0.10, 2 folds, MP calls $0.08
Flop: ($0.33) 6♣: 6♦: 5♥: (3 players)
MP bets $0.02, Hero raises to $0.16, BTN calls $0.16, MP calls $0.14
Turn: ($0.81) 4♠: (3 players)
MP checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $1.06 and is all-in, MP calls $1.06, Hero folds
My thinking:
It start as a limp pot so MP could be holding anything when he calls the pre flop raise.
I raise the flop thinking "if got a 6 good for him" can always cool off the betting a bit later. But then both call.
Turn completes a straight, even though calling with 78 or 23 to the flop raise is pretty loose.
Maybe I shouldn't have checked? Too scared of the straight or trips or even pocket 44 or pocket 55 for a full house?
BTN then snaps all-in. MP calls. So now I am thinking how can he call with nothing?
If they have the set I have 2 outs. If full house 2 outs. If they have the straight I am dead.
Thoughts?
