Early in the big $11 fold AK on the flop against reraise?

It’s a nasty spot and against an unknown I would still fold top pair here on a wet board like this. I expect he will only check raise with better and in best case the flush draw. Also, it’s likely he would shove draw an instead of raising, but that is speculation off course.

Yeah it's a hard spot and well I just couldn't fold and didn't have much of information from the player. But maybe it should have been a fold here and I should maybe learn to fold in these situations but it is hard but will try to improve it. I also think as you said that he would most likely reshove a draw here.

@SDK his raise basically is allin. I don't think he has a different range with this sizing (leaving 6bb behind) and shoving. That being said I still think a fold is in place as he isn't doing this with KQ, KJ or A9.

I guess that’s also villain dependent. A raise looks always stronger than a push with not much chips behind I think.

Personally I think it's a fold, it's early we only have TPTK, he could have trips (and pushing as he's scared of the flush draw) or at worst a flush draw.

However I do think an argument can be made for a call, as this early in a tournament you get some very poor players who will do this as a bluff with nothing or want to double up or bust.

However I think folding and waiting to work out if they are that sort of player is better (does mean you lose your chance and someone else may bust him and get his chips though).
