Hero shows K♥ K♦ (Two Pair, Kings and Fours)
(Pre 81%, Flop 9%, Turn 5%)
SB wins 206.2 BB

snap hand so no hud but bb is not playing full stack so maybe weakish.
I am in ep and open for 2.8bb btn raises 3x and bb calls
against 2 players I want to 4 bet for value and hopefully get one to fold.

I must have miss clicked because I wanted to raise to $2.50
What sizing would you use in this situation?

Hi, can you beat Nl10 snap? do you find it hard or fishy? Why do you play there considering that rake is one of the highest and rakeback is the lowest in the poker industry?

@mlatasrb Hi spooky but your PS user name is exactly the same as a player on 888 snap 10nl that I have played against several times :f_drink:

your questions
Hi, can you beat Nl10 snap? Yes but not this month :f_cry: my failure to beat it is my failure to adapt
do you find it hard or fishy? many players are very fishy one or two sharks playing for a living
Why do you play there considering that rake is one of the highest and rakeback is the lowest in the poker industry? I am a recreational player so looking to be a winner in the game not just a rake back grinder.
I play snap so that 1 I put in enough hands to qualify for poker stratergy points for all their valuable content
2 playing without a hud forces me to concentrate on the action, position bet sizing etc to make myself a better player rather than just reading a set of numbers and basing my actions
gl at tables

4bet around 30-35bb, there is one caller and you are oop. GL

I would 4bet bigger pre and bet the flop a lot smaller or maybe just check.

I actually like your post flop play. They are capped so you have range advantage and 1 spr just shove flop looks very good to me. No way I bet fold or either check fold.

This is a similar think than in the hand you posted, where you shoved OTT.
Yes we have range advantage and there are not much stacks behind, but what do we accomplish by betting big here? Only things that should happen are 1) villain folds 2) villain calls with 88.

Our hand is likely the best, the board is dry and we don't have to protect very much. We can get it all in by the river by using smaller bet sizes too. I see no reason to bet so big that villains fold with huge part of their range.

With a shove you will fold all hands that you beat and that can extract value from.

You 4bet pre, villain just calls. Villain is capped, you are not -> meaning you have KK+ villain doesn't. If you shove there, only a megafish or tiltmonkey will call you
QQ can sometimes call you, but I agree with nitrol that if villain holds even JJ he is very likely folding it.

I would 4 bet bigger pre. As played I also believe we stand pretty good and villain will have dificulty with folding overpairs, so getting it in OTF seems ok to me.

This is almost a textbook scenario for a flop slowplay. In a textbook, the example would read something like A♥:A♦:, and the flop is 9♣:4♠:4♦: (and stacks are deeper).

If you think about it, slowplaying (flop only) has close to no drawbacks. You wouldn't even risk giving free cards to hands that can beat you. (The hands drawing out are likely to call a flop bet anyway, but if you bet flop, there is no getting away, pot too big.) You induce bluffs. You induce value bets from hands that hit on turn (that you beat). You induce calls on turn (which you bet if they check) from hands you beat. You may even save part of your stack if some doofus holds a 4 in his hand or pairs a pocket overpair on turn.

While this actual hand is slightly less clear-cut (e.g. you don't like an A OTT), the argument still works. At any rate, flop bet should be much smaller.
